Description

Polenta Screenshot is a lightweight Windows screenshot utility inspired by Greenshot. It lives in the system tray, listens for global hotkeys, and lets you capture a region, the last region, a window, or the full screen in one press.

After capture, open the built-in image editor to draw shapes, arrows and text, highlight focus areas, or obfuscate passwords and faces with pixelize or blur—then save as PNG or copy to the clipboard.

Data storage

Settings are stored as JSON on your PC. Where they live depends on how you run the app:

• Portable download: next to the executable. The zip includes PolentaScreenshot.deploy.json with portable mode.
• Installer: under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Polenta Connection\PolentaScreenshot. The installer sets installed mode automatically.

Your settings stay on your computer.
